Selection into the JIM – Indore is based on criteria of past academic performance, work experience, motivation and commitment, as well as on academic potential.Selection Procedure:1. Students would be short-listed on the basis of their score in common admission test (CAT, MAT, XAT, MPMET ,GRE/GMAT)
2. All short-listed students would be invited to appear for a final selection process involving Group Discussion and Leadership Excercise (GDLE) and Personal interview (PI).Eligibility Criteria for Applicants:1. Applicants should have appeared for any one of the Common Admission Test for Management school – MAT, CAT,  XAT, MPMET and foreign students should have GRE or GMAT score.
2. Minimum 50 % marks or equivalent CGPA
3. A bachelor’s degree in any discipline under 10 + 2 + 3 system from a university recognized by AIU / AICTE
4. Candidates appearing in the final examination of Bachelor’s degree are also eligible provided they complete all the requirements for obtaining Bachelor’s degree or equivalent by September 30, 2010.
