Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), Hyderabad has invited applications for its full-time PhD Programme in Computer Science and Information Technology [with focus on Banking Technology] for the session starting in January 2012.

Essential Qualifications
Masters Degree in any Engineering / Technology; OR MPhil in Mathematics or Statistics or Electronics; OR BE / BTech OR Master’s Degree in Computer Applications / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics / Information Systems / Internet Technology / Geo-Informatics / Bio-Informatics with a minimum of 60% marks in any of the above stated qualifications (a relaxation of 5% marks is provided to SC / ST candidates). All educational qualifications must have been obtained from recognized universities / institutions in India or abroad. If grades are awarded instead of marks, candidates should clearly indicate their numerical equivalent.

Research Fellowship
The selected Research Scholars would be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 14,000/- per month during the first and second year and Rs.15,000/- per month during the subsequent years. The fellowship is normally tenable for three (3) years.
