Applications have been invited by Centre for Research, Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore for admission to PhD / MTech (By Research) courses of Academic Year 2012.

PhD
General Eligibility:
1. Master’s Degree of t h i s University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study notified from time to time by the University.
2. A minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination (50% marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale for SC / ST candidates). For MA (English) Degree holders including SC / ST candidates, a minimum of 50% marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale.

Educational Qualifications:
(i) PhD Degree in Engineering/ Technology: ME / MTech / MS (By Research) / MPharm in the relevant branch of Engineering or Technology
(ii) PhD Degree in Science and Humanities: MSc / MA / MS (By Research), MPharm (Pharmaceutical Technology) in the relevant branch of Science and
Humanities / MCA
(iii) PhD Degree in Management Sciences: MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management or Administration awarded by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) / MS (By Research) in Management Sciences and equivalent
(iv) PhD Degree in Architecture and Planning: MArch / MPlan / MS (By Research) in Architecture and Planning

MTech (By Research):
General Eligibility:
1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering and Technology
2. A minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination (50% marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale for SC / ST candidates).
