Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination 2012

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has announced the Engineering Entrance Examination to be conducted by it on All India basis for admission to the 4 year B.Tech Degree programmes offered in the three Schools of Engineering campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore).

The Entrance Examination will be held from, 10 am to 1 pm on 22.4.2012 (Sunday) at the following Centres. Courses: The various B.Tech programmes offered in the three Schools of Engineering are as follows.

Amritapuri Campus: Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

Bengaluru Campus: Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
Coimbatore Campus: Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1991. He/She should have passed in the final examination of 10+2 ( class XII ) or its equivalent securing at least 60% marks in Mathematics, and minimum of 55% marks separately in Physics and Chemistry with an aggregate of 60% in the three subjects or should have obtained a three year Diploma in Engineering awarded by any State Board of Technical Education, with minimum 60% marks. Those who are appearing for the above examinations in April / May 2012 and expect to secure minimum marks as above may also apply.
